Candlelight vigil for Nepal earthquake victims

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Dozens of people with close ties to Nepal held a candlelight vigil for the victims of the earthquake and their families on Sunday.

The Nepalese Association of Indiana is collecting donations to help the people of Nepal.

Dharma Raj Chimire lives in Greenwood, Ind. and he told 24-Hour News 8 that he was able to contact his mother and brother who still live in Nepal.

He also said that their homes were destroyed, but that they weren’t hurt.
