Case of mumps on IUPUI’s campus

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – IUPUI confirmed Thursday that a case of mumps was found on campus.

According to the IUPUI Mumps hotline, the case was confirmed today.

They are working with the Marion County Health Department and the student with the disease.

IUPUI is also notifying those who were in contact with the student while they were contagious.

They advise students to check their records and see if they have two MMR vaccines. They also advise students to wash their hands with soap and water and avoid sharing food, drinks and utensils.
