Central Indiana sees damage after severe storms

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Storms passed through Central Indiana Friday afternoon and evening.

Officials confirmed a funnel cloud was spotted in Northern White County. Trees and power lines were reportedly down in Monon.

In Cumberland, a tree limb broke out the back window of a car, one tree was uprooted and another tree fell on a garage.

The risk area included Indianapolis, Muncie, Lafayette, Kokomo and Terre Haute.

Highs will reach the mid to upper 80s. Scattered storms will continue this weekend with a returning chance of severe storms Sunday.
