Charges dropped against man involved in dumping body in state park

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – The son accused of helping his father hid his step mother at Fort Harrison State Park had the charges against him dropped.

According to court records, the charges including, obstruction of justice and failure to report a dead body against Robert Wayne Moore were dismissed in court on Wednesday.

Robert Wayne Moore was arrested for helping his father, Robert L Moore, move the his wife’s body, Tina M. Moore to the park in August.

According to police Robert L. Moore turned himself in for the murder and confessed to the killings. He says he and his wife had a physical altercation over family issues that ended with him killing her. He told police that he dumped her body at the park.

In court records Robert L. Moore told detectives that his son helped move the body.
