Colts prepare for clash with Texas

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – With a 2-3 record headed into week six, believe it or not, the Horseshoe has an opportunity to get a share of first place in the AFC South. A scenario that seemed unrealistic after that loss to Jacksonville in London.

“You can’t get ahead of yourself. You can’t sit there and look at what could be. If we do this, we’re this – you’ve got to go take care of business now,” said Chuck Pagano. “You have to worry about today. You’ve got to prepare.”

Keep in mind, the Texans will put out a d-line without start defensive tackle JJ Watt, who will miss the remainder of the season due to injury. But this Houston defense still has Andrew Luck’s full attention.

“There are a lot of guys that can play really good football. There is a reason they are top 10 in total defense or fifth or something. It’s a good scheme, well coached and really good football players,” said Andrew Luck.

No doubt a win this weekend would help get this team’s season back on track. But the fact that this game will be in primetime adds an extra sense of excitement for some players.

The Colts hold a 10-4 record in Houston. If history repeats itself, the Horseshoe could find itself back at the top of the AFC South.
