Colts wrap practice against Bears
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – It’s becoming the thing to do, teams practicing against one another before facing off in the pre-season.
The Colts and Bears, located just 200 miles apart, are spending two days working together, before competing.
Chuck Pagano says he would do it again, “It’s just great work and you get tired…of pounding on each other. You talk to Coach Fox and his staff and his players and they say the same thing. It’s a measuring stick for all of our guys to go against somebody else.”
Andrew Luck says the experience has helped he and his team. “It’s great for us as an offense to go up against a different defensive scheme than Coach Manusky’s scheme. I think it’s quality productive work. You can tell it’s very professional out there.”
The Colts meet the Bears at Lucas Oil Stadium Saturday night at 7:30 p.m.
