Crews training in pond near baby Janna’s house
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Indianapolis Fire Department crews were searching in the pond behind missing baby Janna’s house Tuesday morning.
Police officials said the search was part of a three-day training program for firefighters, but the pond was chosen to rule out any possibilities of baby Janna in the pond.
Chopper 8 flew over the scene as divers prepared to enter the water for the training.

IFD officials said the training program was already scheduled at another spot, but the team relocated to search the pond while they train. Officials said they did not receive any new tip that led them to the pond.
It was the third time in less than a month that officials searched the pond. Tabitha Warner, who lives in the neighborhood, welcomes the search team.
“I think it’s a great idea to keep looking, keep searching, because you never know the outcome of that,” Warner said.
3-month-old Janna Rivera disappeared at the end of May. Her disappearance prompted searches in the neighborhood near the house in the 4100 block of Candy Apple Boulevard. There was also a search of a landfill. She has never been found.
