3 arrested, 19 guns seized in Kokomo drug bust
KOKOMO, Ind. (WISH) – Three people have been arrested in Kokomo, Indiana following a months-long investigation, according to the Kokomo Police Department.
The department said that as a result of the investigation into the illegal distribution of fentanyl warrants for six properties were obtained and carried out on Monday, Oct. 4.
Searches were conducted at the following addresses:
- 303 Southlea Drive Kokomo, Indiana
- 1111 South Washington Street Apartment A Kokomo, Indiana
- 1608 North Indiana Street Kokomo, Indiana
- 1721 North Bell Street Kokomo, Indiana
- 767 Hunters Trail Kokomo, Indiana
- 4810 North Parkway Kokomo, Indiana
Police said that during the search of those locations, a total of 19 firearms and an undisclosed amount of controlled substances were seized. Three people were also arrested.
The following people were arrested:
- Jack Peugh, 33 years-old of Kokomo
- Lawrence Shepard, 44 years-old of Kokomo
- Jarod Deck, 31 years-old of Kokomo
Peugh, Shepard and Deck face a number of preliminary, drug-related charges.
