Family of Dreasjon ‘Sean’ Reed to speak following fatal shooting
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – The family and attorney of Dreasjon “Sean” Reed will be hosting a press conference to address their son’s death.
This is the first time Dreasjon’s mother, Demetree Wynn, will speak publicly.
Reed was shot and killed following a pursuit with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department. Reed streamed the chase on Facebook Live. Police say Reed and an IMPD officer exchanged gunfire.
Family members will not be answering questions from the media at this time.
Mayor Joe Hogsett, IMPD Chief Randal Taylor and members of command staff will host a virtual press conference to provide an update on ongoing policing reforms at 10:30 a.m.
The press conference will not include specific updates on recent police action shootings or deaths.
