Man, 78, found shot Friday outside Hardee’s on east side dies of injuries
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A man shot Friday night outside a Hardee’s restaurant on the city’s east side died Saturday of his injuries, police said.
Officers responding to a report of a person shot in the parking lot of a Hardee’s at 5950 Brookville Rd. around 7 p.m. Friday arrived to find Paul Edmonds, 78, suffering from injuries consistent with a gunshot wound.
Edmonds was taken to Sidney & Lois Eskenazi Hospital in serious condition on Friday night and died Saturday, Indianapolis Metropolitan police said.
According to police, Edmonds was a local business owner.
