Man dies after shooting at 38th, Meridian streets
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A man has died after a shooting Tuesday night at East 38th and Meridian streets, police say.
Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department and an emergency medical crew were called about 7:55 p.m. Tuesday to an apartment building south of the intersection.
Officers found a man with a gunshot wound in the passenger’s seat of a car in a parking lot. He was pronounced dead.
The man was later identified as Carlos Hale Jr., 30.
The shooting is the second fatal one in Indianapolis on Tuesday. The other happened in the afternoon at apartments near West 71st Street and Georgetown Road.
