Police receive more than 1,000 tips after release of new Delphi evidence
DELPHI, Ind. (WISH) — Following the release of new information in the murder of two girls, investigators have received more than 1,000 tips.
Indiana State Police says more than 1,000 new tips have been received in the 24 hours since the release of a new suspect sketch in the Delphi murder case.
A short video and an extended audio clip were also released.
Police are still trying to find the person that killed 14-year-old Liberty German and 13-year-old Abigail Williams more than two years ago.
Investigators released the new evidence in the case in a press conference on Monday.
Police are also seeking tips regarding a car that was parked in an abandoned CPS building lot at 6931 West 300 North in Delphi between noon at 5 p.m. on Feb. 13, 2017. Police are looking for help identifying any vehicles and were in the lot that day.
That building has since been demolished.
Police are also asking for tips as to why the suspect in the sketch would have been in Delphi that day.
