Danville PD seek help locating suspect in theft
DANVILLE, Ind. (WISH) – The Danville Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating the suspect in a vehicle theft.
According to a social media post from Danville PD, the suspect stole a 24-hour vehicle from the Indianapolis International Airport.
After securing the stolen vehicle, the suspect then drove to AC Electric in Danville near County Road 300 East and West Main Street. At that time, police said the suspect broke into a truck and then stole an AC Electric van. Prior to leaving the area, the suspect loaded the van with copper and scrap metal.
Police said the crimes were carried out sometime early Saturday morning.
The suspect was caught on camera.
