Daughter becomes Pacemate as family copes with loss

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – There was some good news Thursday night for a Greenwood family still coping with the loss of three loved ones after last week’s terrible crash on Interstate 65 near Lafayette.

Grace Buck is now an Indiana Pacemate after an online vote and audition Thursday at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.

Buck’s mother and two brothers died in last week’s crash on I-65. They were laid to rest on Wednesday.

Grace Buck posted a photo and message on Instagram Thursday night saying in part, “I want to thank every single person who had prayed for my family. I thank you for the support and the unconditional love. Thank you for allowing me to bring joy to my family during this time.”
