DJ Unk stops in Indy for launch of ‘Speak on It’ magazine
DJ Unk, the Atlanta-based rapper, and producer behind the 2006 hit song “Walk It Out” took some time out of his busy schedule to speak with us on All Indiana.
He spoke about his career, shared some behind-the-scenes stories about his music, and even got Cody Adams, one of the hosts, to “walk it out” in a suit and tie!
“Walk It Out” was released in 2006 and quickly became a cultural phenomenon, reaching the number two spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
The song’s beat and catchy lyrics had everyone dancing and singing along, and it remains a popular party anthem to this day. DJ Unk’s success with “Walk It Out” led to collaborations with other popular artists like T-Pain and Jim Jones.
