Dunkin’ Donuts testing new delivery service

INDIANAPOLIS (WPRI) – If you’ve always wished coffee and doughnuts could be delivered right to your doorstep, that dream may soon become reality.

According to Dunkin’ Donuts’ CEO, the company is conducting a “private test” of a delivery service. He said Dunkin’ Donuts is developing mobile ordering, but did not say when it would be available, WISH-TV’s sister station WPRI reports.

The announcement comes as rival Starbucks is testing an app-based delivery service in the northwest.

McDonald’s and Chipotle are also experimenting with food delivery in New York and Amazon Prime is offering one-hour grocery delivery from New York City stores.
