Easter cookies recalled over allergy concern
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – A brand of Easter cookies has been recalled because the company that makes them says there’s an ingredient in them that wasn’t listed in the packaging.
Silver Lake announced this week that their Easter Egg Cookies were being recalled because of undeclared egg in the ingredients.
They say people who have an allergy or a severe sensitivity to eggs could have a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they eat the cookies. The cookies are safe to eat for those who don’t have egg allergies.
The cookies under recall were sold in MN, WI, NY, GA, IL, CT, PA, MA, and IN.
No illnesses have been reported at this point. For more information on the recall click here.
