Family asking for tips in quad murders
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — In the past 23 days, there have been few tips on who killed four people on the city’s northwest side.
Last month, a woman found the bodies of four people inside her home on the 3100 block of North Harding Street. The Marion County coroner later identified the bodies as Tiara Turner, Terri Betties, Sherry Taylor, and Davon Whitlock.
Since the horrific murders, police have received few leads or tips on who is responsible for pulling the trigger.
On Wednesday afternoon, family members for Turner stood outside where the shooting happened, asking for the public’s help.
“A crime like this, there should be all kind of tips coming in,” said the April Richardson, the aunt of Turner. “I mean some real tips that will lead us to the killer. “
The family has not been frustrated with the detectives; their hurt comes from no one coming forward with credible information.
In the coming days, Richardson and others will hand out flyers to the public hoping to drum up leads on who is responsible for the murders.
“We are very frustrated. We feel like they should be caught by now,” said Richardson.
Crime Stoppers is actively taking tips in this investigation. Tips received will remain anonymous. You can reach Crime Stoppers of Central Indiana at 317-262-TIPS, or 317-262-8477.
