FCC to allow phone carriers to block robo-calls
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Receiving a call with an automated response or getting texts from a marketing campaign are both scenarios most have experienced.
A new move from the Federal Communications Commission may make these annoying situations a thing of the past.
The FCC will now allow phone carriers to block robo-calls.
Indiana Attorney General Greg Zoeller stopped by to explain the new implementation from the FCC.
He explains what this means for Hoosiers, when this move goes into effect, and they steps consumers need to make as far as getting in touch with their service provider to ensure they no longer recieve unwanted calls.
