Former deputy town marshal takes plea deal in child solicitation case
COLUMBUS, Ind. (WISH) – The former Hartville deputy town marshal pleaded guilty on Monday to a felony charge of attempted dissemination of material harmful to minors.
According to 24-Hour News 8’s partners at The Republic, 51-year-old Lyn Nunemaker entered a plea agreement. Charges of child solicitation were dropped as part of the plea agreement.
Nunemaker was arrested in July after allegedly contacting a female child via text message. His home was searched by Indiana State Police after a search warrant was obtained.
Nunemaker will be sentenced on May 12.
