Social distancing, PPE still necessary as states loosen restrictions

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Last month, a large number of people in Pasadena, CA got together for a party. Masks and social distancing were not invited. A woman with COVID-19 was coughing. As a result, five people who also attended the party became infected. 

On Tuesday, Dr. Mary Gillis, D.Ed., discussed health officials’ concerns about loosening restrictions, citizens not abiding by recommendations to continue to social distance and the importance of personal protective equipment (PPE) despite states lifting regulations.
