Hundreds arrested or cited during Scheid Diesel Extravaganza weekend

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) – Law enforcement in Terre Haute were busy this weekend. Extra patrols were put into place surrounding this weekend’s Scheid Diesel Extravaganza.

Saturday night, Indiana State Police were called to a large crowd and fight at Fourth and Hulman. One person was injured and they were still looking for the suspects.

Troopers were also called the the scene of a vehicle rollover where one person was arrested for a DUI. Multiple vehicles were also searched with a K9 that resulted in many arrests.

Overall there were 320 traffic citations issued this weekend and there were nine DUI arrests made.
