IMPD: Gunman on the loose after south side shooting
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Police are searching for the gunman after a shooting Sunday evening on the south side of Indianapolis.
Officers were called to the 1300 block of West Hanna Avenue around 6:45 p.m.
An IMPD spokesperson said a man was shot multiple times after a fight near a semi. It’s unclear if a robbery was taking place, police said.
Officers combed the area but were unable to find the male suspect. Police suspect he fled in a vehicle.
The victim is in good condition, IMPD said.
