IMPD honors its own, citizens in ceremony
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department on Friday recognized numbers officers, civilian employees and citizens for their contributions.
They also were honored for going above and beyond the call of duty.
Awards including the Medal of Bravery, the Medal of Valor, the Medal of Merit and two Purple Hearts.
The event was at Clowes Auditorium at the Central Library downtown.
