IMPD K-9 officer battling kidney failure dies
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – A K-9 officer with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department died on Thanksgiving Day after being diagnosed with kidney failure.
Bravo died after a long battle with kidney failure. He was taken off active duty and put on non-patrol function. IMPD posted about Bravo’s death on their Facebook page. They said that Bravo honorably served with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department K-9 Unit until his death.
Bravo worked with his partner Officer Mike Diehl.
