IMPD responds to vehicle running off road and crashing, finds man fatally shot
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Authorities say the death of a 22-year-old man Sunday in Indianapolis has been ruled suicide.
According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, the incident happened just after 8 a.m. near the intersection of East Washington Street and North Post Road after reports of a vehicle running off the road and crashing.
When officers arrived, they found an unresponsive male in the driver’s seat who had suffered from a gunshot wound. Medics pronounced him dead on-scene.
The Marion County Coroner’s Office said Monday the death has been ruled a suicide.
