IN Supreme Court denies transfer of Bisard appeal

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — The Indiana Supreme Court has denied the transfer for the appeal by former Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department Officer David Bisard.

The Indiana Supreme Court issued an order denying review of Bisard’s conviction.

Bisard was convicted for a 2010 crash that killed Eric Wells and injured Mary Mills and Kurt Weekly.

Bisard is currently serving a 16-year sentence.

In March, the Indiana Court of Appeals upheld the conviction.

With the denial of transfer, all appeals have now been exhausted.
