Indiana holds first same-sex wedding expo
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — With same-sex marriage now legal in Indiana, dozens of wedding vendors offered their services today at the state’s first same-sex wedding ‘expo.’
The Indianapolis Rainbow Chamber of Commerce presented The Grand Marriage Equality Wedding Even’ at the Indiana Grand Casino.
Nearly 30 businesses were on hand to provide information on a range of services including caterers, photographers, flowers and venues.
“The way our constitution is written, it’s liberty and justice for all – not just for some. Today we’ve got people that are willing to show that – to show their support that they serve all people,” said Don Burrus of the Indy Rainbow Chamber of Commerce.
In addition to on-site weddings and vow renewals, the event also featured music and dance lessons.
