2 killed, 1 injured in Fort Wayne shooting
FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WISH) — Two men died and a woman was injured following a shooting in Fort Wayne Sunday evening.
Around 9 p.m., Fort Wayne police responded to a mobile home park in the 3100 block of Wells Street on reports of a person shot.
Upon arrival, officers found three people — two men and one woman — with injuries consistent with gunshot wounds.
One of the men was pronounced dead at the scene. The second man, who is believed to be the suspect, was taken to the hospital where he later died.
The woman was taken to the hospital and treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
Preliminary investigation suggests that the female and male victims were at the mobile home park visiting a friend. The male suspect arrived and shot the male and female victims. Police believe a struggle ensued, which led to the suspect being shot.
