FBI asks for help to find missing 11-month-old Plymouth girl

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — The Federal Bureau of Investigation is asking for the public’s help in finding a missing girl.

MISSING INFANT UPDATE:

Mercedes Lain was last seen wearing a white onesie with pink trim. From Thursday to Sunday she was seen in Marshall Co, Starke Co and St. Joe Co.

A statewide Silver Alert was issued Sunday night for 11-month-old Mercedes Lain of Plymouth. Lain was last seen wearing a white onesie with pink trim.

She has blonde hair and brown eyes. She is two feet tall and weighs 19 pounds.

The family of #missing 11 month old Mercedes Lain is asking for your help to find her:

"We're just asking if anybody knows anything, or if you have her to please, please bring her home or take her somewhere where she can be brought home, please."

According to Indiana State Police, Lain was last seen with 37-year-old Justin Lee Miller, described as 5-feet-8 and 170 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes.

Miller was driving a blue 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee with Indiana plate BOT126.

The FBI previously said Lain was seen Thursday through Sunday in Marshall, Starke, and St. Joe counties. Now, the FBI says Lain was last seen Saturday around 12:30 a.m. in Mishawaka.

Anyone with information about Lain’s whereabouts is asked to call 911 or the Plymouth Police Department at 574-936-2126.
