Fort Wayne crash kills 1

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WISH) — A crash in Fort Wayne Tuesday night left one person dead, Fort Wayne Police Department say.

Police say officers responded to a two-car crash at approximately 5:56 p.m.

A witness told police a black Nissan was traveling north on Sherman Boulevard and a black Honda was traveling east on West Coliseum Boulevard. The Honda ran a red light and crashed into the Nissan.

The driver of the Nissan was removed from the vehicle by the Fort Wayne Fire Department transported to a local hospital. They died shortly after arriving at the hospital.

There were no passengers in either car.
