Indiana State Fair stage collapse survivor thanks doctors, nurses
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – It’s been seven years since the deadly stage collapse at the Indiana State Fair.
Seven people died and more than 100 others were injured when a storm forced the stage collapse at the Grandstand in 2011.
On Monday, survivor Jaymie Polet returned to St. Vincent Indianapolis Hospital to thank the doctors and nurses. Her mom was also among the injured. One of her friends died in the collapse.
