Indiana State Police Recruit Academy graduates 54
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Indiana added 54 state police officers on Thursday night.
The 78th Indiana State Police Recruit Academy graduated at the Statehouse.
The recruits took the oath of office and were presented their badges.
The graduation ended 22 weeks of intense training that included criminal and traffic law and crash investigations.
Each new trooper will now be assigned to a post in Indiana. They’ll spend the next three months in field training.
