IndyGo donating summer bus passes to Project Indy

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – IndyGo is donating summer bus passes to Project Indy after a partnership with the Greater Indianapolis Progress Committee and IndyGo.

The partnership was announced Wednesday.

More than 230 passes have been given out to be used by young people in the community for free.

Part of Mayor Hogsett’s vision for Project Indy is to provide increased resources and support for our community of summer job allies,” said GIPC executive director Beth White. “Being able to provide youth bus passes for our Project Indy partners is truly a natural extension of that call for collaboration and increased accessibility.
