BRU Burger Bar opens in South Bend

SOUTH BEND, Ind. (Inside INdiana Business) – Indianapolis-based Cunningham Restaurant Group has opened its BRU Burger Bar concept in South Bend. The new restaurant occupies the space formerly home to Livery Restaurant in Eddy Street Commons and is the company’s 12th BRU location.

The company first announced plans to open the South Bend restaurant in June.

“We are excited to bring BRU Burger Bar to the South Bend community. We look forward to continuing to delight our guests with the award-winning menu that many have come to love,” said Mike Cunningham, chief executive officer of Cunningham Restaurant Group.

Cunningham says BRU is a family-friendly restaurant that serves lunch and dinner seven days a week. BRU’s menu features signature burgers, sandwiches, and appetizers, among others.

The original BRU Burger Bar is located on Mass Ave in downtown Indianapolis. In addition to BRU Burger Bar, Cunningham operates 34 locations in Indiana, Ohio, and Kentucky.
