Groundbreaking set for Domino’s supply chain center
MERRILLVILLE, Ind. (Inside INdiana Business) — Gov. Eric Holcomb will Friday join executives from Domino’s Pizza Inc. (NYSE: DPZ) to break ground on the company’s $50 million production and warehouse facility in Merrillville. The Michigan-based pizza chain says the 110,000-square-foot facility at the Ameriplex at the Crossroads business park will create up to 140 jobs by the end of 2023.
Plans for the facility were first announced in May. Domino’s said at the time the supply chain center will serve Domino’s locations throughout Indiana, Illinois, Michigan and Wisconsin.
The governor will be joined by other local officials for the groundbreaking ceremony, which is scheduled for 10 a.m. local time. Construction on the facility is expected to be complete by the end of next year.
