Indiana Arts Commission awards funding
INDIANAPOLIS (Inside INdiana Business) — The Indiana Arts Commission has awarded more than $3 million to fund art projects and organizations throughout the state. The Arts Project Support and Arts Organization Support grant programs will help 390 nonprofits.
“The projects and organizations that are receiving funding have major positive impacts on the cultural, economic and educational climate of Indiana. The commission is impressed at the work being done around the state and is excited to support investment in Hoosier communities,” said Indiana Arts Commission Chair Alberta Barker.
The commission presented $1,000 merit awards to 52 organizations receiving Arts Organization Support, with a full list of grant recipients available by clicking here.
The commission also distributed funding from the Arts Trust, which is supported by donations from the sale of Celebrate the Arts license plates to a sole Arts Project Support grant recipient from each Indiana county where a funded application was submitted.
