NOBLESVILLE, Ind. (Inside INdiana Business) — Officials in Noblesville will Friday break ground on a nearly $8 million mixed-used development in the city’s downtown. The city says the Lofts on Tenth will feature 8,000 square feet of retail and office space in addition to residential space that Mayor Chris Jensen says will “increase downtown livability.”

The development was first announced during Jensen’s inaugural State of the City address in February.

The project will be located on 10th Street between Clinton and Wayne streets in Noblesville. The city says the building will total nearly 32,000 square feet of overall space.

A timeline for the building’s completion was not provided. The groundbreaking ceremony is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. Friday.
