State to name next 21st Century Talent Region
INDIANAPOLIS (Inside INdiana Business) — State officials will Tuesday announce the next community to be named a 21st Century Talent Region. The state says the designation recognizes communities that “commit to using a systems approach to attract, develop, and connect Hoosier talent.”
The new community will be the sixth to receive the 21st Century Talent Region designation. The others include northeast Indiana, southeast Indiana, the Indiana Uplands, Hamilton County, and South Bend-Elkhart.
Indiana Secretary of Career Connections and Talent Blair Milo, Indiana Commissioner for Higher Education Teresa Lubbers and Indiana Destination Development Corp. Secretary and Chief Executive Officer Elaine Bedel will take part in the announcement. They will be joined by community leaders from Indianapolis.
