Judge lifts ‘no contact’ order between councilor charged with child molesting and his son
DANVILLE, Ind. (WISH) — A judge in Hendricks County on Friday lifted a “no contact” order between Indianapolis City-County Councilor Jeff Miller and his son.
Miller had been prevented from seeing his son after being accused of child molesting in November.
Miller has pleaded not guilty to the charges he faces.
He is due back in court on March 16, in Hendricks County, because Marion County judge Mark Stoner, initially assigned to the case, recused himself.
Miller has not resigned from his position on the City-County Council, although during a council meeting on Monday, his fellow councilors voted to remove him from three committees on which he served.
