Indy Eleven celebrating July 4 with ‘Indy-Pendence Day’ festivities

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – The Indy Eleven plays host to Birmingham Legion FC at Carroll Stadium Saturday night.

The boys in blue are celebrating the holiday with “Indy-Pendence Day” weekend festivities.

Senior director of communications and marketing for the team John Koluder was on Daybreak Friday morning.

Some of the festivities include the Indiana Nation Guard taking part in pre-game ceremonies such as singing God Bless America, the national anthem and the presenting of the colors.

Also, the pre-game Honda Fun Zone will be expanded to include more fun activities and a number of concession items will be available for $3.
