Kids Coats helping bundle up kids this winter

WESTFIELD, Ind. (WISH) — A local organization is making sure all children are bundled up this winter.

Families were able to drop off donations for Kids Coats at Grand Park on Saturday.

The group is looking for clean and gently used coats. Organizers say they realize more people need help this year than ever.

“I just want to give back and let people know they’re not alone,” said Linda Withrow, executive director of Hamilton County Kids Coats. “When things are hard and not well like this year with COVID-19, we’ve got a community of people around you and with you.”

Collections will continue next Saturday, Sept. 26, at Carmel Middle School and Oct. 3 at Noblesville High School.
