Martinsville police arrest 15 during Operation Sheepdog

MARTINSVILLE, Ind. (WISH) – The Martinsville Police Department arrested 15 people on drugs, alcohol and warrant-related arrests this week.

According to police, the arrests were part of Operation Sheepdog drug sting and weekend patrols.

“Our goal always is to significantly curb the drug and criminal activity that negatively affects our City. Today’s results are good news on that front, with plans for more of the same in the future,” Police Chief Matt Long said.

Long said drug and criminal activity is not welcome in Martinsville. He said if you are involved in that type of activity, then the Martinsville Police Department will find and arrest you sooner or later.
