Robots help Colts players connect with patients in kids’ hospital

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — The Indianapolis Colts on Monday used robots to send three players to Riley Hospital for Children.

Jonathan Taylor, Julian Blackmon and Michael Pittman Jr. visited with patients on the oncology floor via the robots.

Why robots? There are visitor restrictions because of the coronavirus pandemic that limit who can come into the hospital.

The technology helped the football stars bring some smiles and Colts gear to kids in the hospital.
