Tweet For Toys collects toys for children in need
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — This year’s Tweet For Toys was a big success thanks to 22 businesses that collected toys for children in need.
Scott Sander, Randy Ollis and Brenna Donnelly traveled around to those businesses Wednesday to pick up all the toys.
Many of the businesses have participated in the toy drive for years. There were also several new companies on the list this year. All of the donated toys will be given to the Indy Public Safety Foundation to help kids in need all year long.
Our sponsors this year included B105.7. Morning show host Sean Copeland traveled around with the WISH-TV crew for many of the Tweet For Toys stops on Wednesday. IBEW Local 481 and Ed Martin were sponsors as well.
If you have new toys you’d like to donate, you can continue to do that through WISH Tree. The toys can be dropped off at WISH-TV, B105.7, IBEW Local 481 or any Ed Martin dealership until Dec. 20.
WISH-TV would like to thank everyone involved in this year’s Tweet For Toys.
