Victory Field fills with families for 2nd ‘Flicks’ film
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — There may not be baseball at Victory Field this season, but there’s plenty going on there.
Friday night was the second movie screening in a series called “Flicks at Victory Field” with “Angels in the Outfield” on the big screen.
Families spread out 10 feet apart from other groups on the diamond and in the stands. Organizers say without baseball, this is the next best thing.
“Fans are excited to come out to the ball to the ballpark and experience the ballpark in any way they can…and this is a cool way to come out to victory field and see a classic on the big screen,” said Cheyne Reiter with the Indianapolis Indians.
If you weren’t able to make it to the first two showings, you can catch “A League of Their Own” on Friday, Oct. 9.
