Local organization provides assistance to victims of domestic violence

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – For many domestic violence victims, pets are sources of comfort, providing strong emotional support. Unfortunately, they can unintentionally keep victims in abusive relations.

However, there is one organization in central Indiana that is working to provide help to those who need it.

Susan Hobbs and Tracy Vatnee with the Beacon of Hope Crisis Center stopped by WISH-TV Thursday.

They discussed the organization, the services it provides and how to get involved to begin lending a helping hand.
