Local organization works to improve the lives of others
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – While it is officially Fall, fall means several things to many people.
To some people Fall means taking the time to watch the leaves turn, enjoying a nice relaxing hayride, or taking the little ones to plenty of candy dressed as a scary pirate or a spook ghost.
However, for some, Fall, and more specifically October, means some entirely different. October is Employment and Disability Awareness Month.
In order to recognize the great strides being made in order to allow those with disabilities to work and provide for themselves, one organization is doing tremendous work.
Easter Seals Crossroads is doing some really great things.
In order to get an up close look at some of the things happening, Dick Wolfsie stopped by.
Wade Wingler with Easter Seals Crossroads show him around and introduced him to some of the great people there.
