Longtime Noblesville City Judge dies

NOBLESVILLE, Ind. (WISH) – A longtime Noblesville City Judge passed away Thursday night.

Noblesville Mayor John Dislear said in a release that Gregory L. Caldwell passed away at the age of 74.

He served as a judge for the city court since 1992.

“The city has lost a friend and valued colleague.  He has been a tremendous public servant and steadfast member of the city court system. Our hearts go out to Judge Caldwell’s family and those in the courts that worked closely with him,” Ditslear said.

Judge Caldwell began practicing law in Tipton in 1968. He also served as a Hamilton County Deputy Prosecutor.

Funeral arrangements have not been announced.
