INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Lowe’s is preparing for home improvement’s busiest season with open interviews for more than 950 jobs in the area, the company announced Wednesday.

From 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Feb. 13, the store will have open interviews at Lowe’s locations in the Indianapolis area, said a news release from Maureen Wallace with Lowe’s corporate communications in Mooresville, North Carolina.

Participants can meet hiring managers and speak with other Lowe’s employees. Some may receive immediate part-time or full-time job offers, the release said.

“In-store seasonal roles, which typically support stores between February and September, include cashiers, lawn and garden associates, stockers and loaders,” the release said. “Lowe’s seasonal associates benefit from competitive pay and a 10 percent employee discount. Last year, nearly 40 percent of the company’s seasonal associates transitioned into permanent part-time and full-time positions.”

The release did not provide the pay range for the jobs available, but said health benefits and other incentives will be offered after 30 days on the job.
